As a doctor in an intensive care unit specialized in liver transplantation, I accompanied patients and their families through the disease and their suffering for more than 10 years. I then became aware of their isolation and the confinement of the disease despite the support of exhausted caregivers. There is a vital need to feel a little bit of well-being for each of the actors, patient, family, caregiver. Culture appears to be an obvious solution because of the joy, wonder and sharing it brings. Contributing to “Hop We Care” thus makes sense.
